What we collect
When you sign up for our free newsletter, we collect the email address you provide through the signup form. We don't collect any other personal information on this site — there are no accounts, and we don't track you individually for advertising purposes.
Why we collect it
Your email address is used solely to send you the free guide you requested and, if you remain subscribed, occasional newsletter updates — new venue openings, price changes, and what's genuinely worth booking. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.
Who processes it
Newsletter signups and delivery are handled by Buttondown, our email service provider. Buttondown stores your email address on our behalf and sends emails to you when we publish an update. You can review Buttondown's own privacy practices on their website.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from the list immediately — no need to contact us first, though you're welcome to.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some links on this site are affiliate links (including links to GetYourGuide and Klook). Clicking one of these links may set a cookie on the destination platform's site so that, if you book, the platform can attribute the booking to us and pay a commission. Your rights (GDPR)
If you're located in the European Economic Area or UK, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request that we correct or delete it, and object to or restrict how we use it. Since the only data we hold is your email address and subscription status, most requests are handled by simply unsubscribing or asking us to delete your record.
